i can't say i know for sure what's going on here, i suppose maybe a group of travelling porcupines met a dying martyr and one especially inquisitive porcupine is wondering whether Saint Sebastian may be one of their kind, or maybe Saint Sebastian went for the martyrdom in order to resemble a porcupine and become a part of porcupines' society :meditation:
i just couldn't help but draw my own vision of Saint Sebastian's death:)

dedicated to and inspired by my dear friend Sebastian (:yum:nomen omen) :iconcharonferryman:

Niesamowite. Mocne aż do bólu, ale piękne. Imponujące.

It's very sweet :)

The blank page holds potential for all things. - motto.
I reject your reality and substitute my own - Adam Savage, but originally Paul Bradford from The Dungeonmaster.

I accept all critique with an open ear and a grateful mind.

very sweet?:faint:really? why, thank you:bow:
or...or...the porcupines were quite happy worhipping their porcupine gods & along comes St. Sebastion saying no no no sin sin sin if you want to go to heaven you have to worship the god I worship. The porcupines thought otherwise, but it wouldn't look good if Sebastion (he wasn't a saint yet) died by porcupine, so the story was altered (though he was still skewered) and a martyr & a saint was born.

or

"My son."
"Dad?"

"Tell me, are you sensitive to the influence of the full moon and the werewolf?" -Krank "City of Lost Children"
that's brilliant ... St. Francis of the Porcupines.
you always offer something to think about ... a wry twist.
 thoughtful work well executed, Basia.

Ha. This is a great concept. I really like the scratchy way you did the porcupine quills too.
