That is my second picture here
 I'm getting used to is "Gerda alone" was drawn as an illustration for "the Snow Queen" (you know, the famous "Snow Queen" by H.Ch.Andersen). There is a fragment of that amazing fairy tale, when after going away from the old woman's magical garden to go on looking for Kay, Gerda understood that it was late autumn around her and thought someting like (I'm not sure, will that sound correctly, I know well only the Polish-language version) : "Oh! How sad and grey this remote world is!" That picture is supposed to be an illustration of those Gerda's words. |
