a commission for who required an evening scene ( it turned out a night scene in my picture actually, but let's say evenings in the woods are very dark ones) with a white deer and a Pierrot
the original is much bigger of course, about 29,7 x 42,0 cm (11,7 x 16,5 inches) and believe me please-generally looks better it's just my scanner for some unknown reasons found it hard to scan the deep greens and made it all a bit colourless while the original have more tones and colours
i was listening to Death Cab For Cutie's song "Soul Meets Body" while drawing it, and maybe it affected me somehow while interpreting my own drawing, 'cause i think it looks to me like the Pierrot symbolizes soul while the white deer represents body but i might be wrong
i hope shall like it
thank you Vermelho, u sweet girl
i used a pen, a multiliner (that is actually a gift from ) some coloured pencils, watercolour-coloured pencils, white gel-pen and that would be all
but please believe me it looks so much better in person the scan is soooooo very weak i deeply hate my scanner sometimes
Really beautiful, Basia. Makes me wish it was winter again!

I am speechless! This is absolutely gorgeous! The deer, pierrot, the glowing background, the delecate spiders...everything is superb. I'm very happy with it.

Basia, it's so pretty! The colors are perfect. I love the dark greens. Completely magical. What did you use to make this?

For some reason I like the spiders a lot - it makes it really look like a deep, dark forest but still somehow friendly.
Great work as usual!!
