Artist's Comments

a little commission I did for :iconendless-spirit:
a girl with a pegasus in a giant mushrooms forest, I hope she'll like my realisation of the topic (of course I chose to make it a forest of amanita muscaria, not that i'm some addict of psychoactive mushrooms or anything:nirvana:, but who can deny they are one of the prettiest classiest types of mushrooms aren't they?
I think I actually liked better the atmosphere of a little photomanipulation I did out of that picture(i'll put the photomanipulated version to scraps [link] ), when I digitally bathed it in blue and green, but this is not that bad neither, or is it?

The 'shrooms and the characters are very good ...the foreground distracts me.

true, I agree, it's too vague isn't it? well, but i never really come back to done pictures to anhance them once they're "finished" so it'll probably have to stay that way,
I think it looks a bit better in original though you know, it looks more foggy and 3-D like on the paper, here in the photo is becomes strangely flat:no:
:hug:thank you for your clever observation:bow:

awesome! i love your work!

breath-taking!
I have always had an affection for old Amanita muscaria..I remember citing it in a biology exam as an example of fungus specimen, and my lecturer marked it wrong because she thought I was making it up! (Because it was not one of the stock examples given by the textbook!)

I love the horse's wings.

Both versions of this piece are lovely--I actually like this one a lot because I think the red gives it an intense, almost feverish quality. I like the ethereal figures of the girl and pegasus in the foreground, too. :3
